Global companies and corporations such as Bayer, Sony Pictures, ThyssenKrupp, DNV, State Street, and Arla Foods have been centralising their finance and accounting operations in Tricity for several years. The dynamic development of highly specialised accounting processes makes interdisciplinarity in the accounting profession increasingly important. That is why, as part of the Finance and Accounting programme, students acquire the up to date knowledge required in the profession of an accountant or a financial controller.

Students of this programme learn the most commonly used accounting and finance software (Symfonia, Płatnik, SAP), gaining the up to the date knowledge, and acquiring essential skills for careers as financiers, accountants and controllers. We also provide solid knowledge of Excel, Word, and SharePoint so you can stand out from other employees in the company.

Classes on this programme are largely conducted in the form of workshops, practical sessions and projects by specialists and practitioners of economic life (accountants, certified auditors, financiers, lawyers). Internship supervisors from leading companies specialising in finance and accounting will support the learning process, providing you valuable lessons and teaching you practical skills that will be useful in your future professional career.

Among our lecturers are: independent accountants, chief accountants, owners of accounting offices, tax advisors, employees, specialists and staff of the National Revenue Administration, HR resources and payroll managers, economists, financial analysts, city councilors, diplomats and certified translators.

Studies in the field of Finance and Accounting are aimed at people:

• interested in a career in professions such as an accountant, financier, internal auditor, controlling specialist, in manufacturing, trading, service companies, the banking, insurance, investment, pension sectors, accounting and accounting consultancy offices, factoring companies, in public administration units, tax administration,
• planning to set up and run an accounting office,
• tending to run the accounting and finances of their own company.

After completing your bachelor’s degree, you can continue gaining your knowledge on master’s degree in Finance and Accounting in Polish or choose the Finance and Accounting ACCA programme (in English)
